DIA National Conference 2018 | Join the E-volution
How technology is revolutionising driving and driver training
Mercure Dartford Brands Hatch Hotel & Spa | 23 November 2018 | 9:00am - 4:00pm
The world of driving and driver training as we know it is ‘e-volving’…are you ready?
Technology can be perceived as a friend or a foe to the driver trainer. Either way you look at it – technology is evolving how we drive, what we drive, how we learn to drive and how we develop our driving competence and safety.
This year’s conference will help trainers better understand how they can benefit from the diverse range of technological innovations now shaping the world of driving and driver education – and equally where to beware. On the day we’ll be joined by expert speakers from the world of automotive design, from government and from across the digital universe to share their views, innovations and insights on how technology is ‘e-volutionising’ driving and driver training.
Not only will you have the opportunity to catch up on the latest developments in driver education and training, grill the DVSA, network and celebrate ADI achievements, you’ll also be able to attend 2 CPD workshops of your choice on the day and gain FREE access to 4 new online CPD courses so you can continue your learning after the event (worth £200)!
Why not book an overnight stay?
We’ve secured special bed and breakfast rates at Mercure Brands Hatch Hotel for delegates who wish to stay the night before, with the option of pre-booking dinner at the hotel on Thursday evening. Plus we’ll be hosting our annual ‘Driver Training Quiz of the Year’ after dinner on the Thursday evening, so get ready to team up and put your industry and general knowledge to the test, whilst enjoying beverage (or two!).

DIA National Conference 2017
Driving driver education forward
Last year’s National Conference was a great success, thank you to all those who attended!
The theme of the conference was developing driver education and the profession as a whole and what we could do to raise both driver standards and performance. With a variety of workshops and presentations throughout the day, we looked into new and future developments in driver education, policy, regulation and strategy.
